After that, draw the next line as if you’re drawing an upside-down U.

Step 7:

Repeat step 6 once more.

Step 8:

Curve your lien to the left.

Now curve your line a little to the left.

Step 9:

Draw the top of the candy cane.

We’re going to draw the top of the candy cane thicker than the bottom we previously drew. So draw the top slightly outward.

Step 10:

Draw another line that curve's slightly on the way down.

Now we will draw another line that curves on the way down.

Step 11:

Continue drawing an outward line.

Continue drawing a line that’s more outward.

Step 12:

Draw another lien that will curve towards the right at the end of the line.

Now we draw a line that is going to be curving to the right towards the end.

Step 13:

Repeat step 12 again.

We repeat step 12 once more.

Step 14:

Sketch another line connecting both lines.

We sketched another line connecting both lines and now we have a shape of a candy cane.

Step 15:

Now color in the red swirls.

Now we get a red colored pencil and color in the red and white swirls. Keep in mind to think in 3D and don’t draw the red swirls as straight lines. Draw them as if they are wrapping around an object.

And that’s it! You now have a beautiful candy cane drawing! Enjoy your festive creation.
